Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a membership-based healthcare model where patients pay a simple monthly fee (typically $50–$150) for unlimited, comprehensive primary care. DPC intentionally operates outside of insurance for routine services—offering longer visits, easier access, and personalized care—and pairs well with high-deductible plans or other coverage for major emergencies. It is not insurance but a cost-effective complement to it.
